Rafael Marquez played his 100th international match for Mexico on Saturday and helped the side to a 3-1 win over Paraguay.
The New York Red Bulls star played his first match for El Tri back in February 1997 and 14 years later notched up the milestone to become the eighth Mexican player in history to reach 100 appearances.
Marquez had a hand in the second goal in Oakland, California with an assist for Jose Guardado in the 28th minute.
He has now joined the likes of Claudio Suarez, Pavel Pardo, Jorge Campos, Gerardo Torrado and Cuauhtemoc Blanco as El Tri players to reach the 100-game milestone.
