MLS buzz club New York Red Bull are hoping they can hold onto exciting forward Macoumba Kandji.

The 24-year old Senegalese striker has attracted a lot of interest from European clubs recently but Red Bull general manager Erik Soler did not expect the player to leave.

"We wouldn't do anything anyway. We haven't gotten anything, wouldn't do anything,'' Soler said. "We believe he's a good kid, believe in the player, we think he will develop in this team and so he's not going anywhere. Simple as that.''
