New York next? Man City on brink of deal for Libertad whiz Jesus Medina

Manchester City are wrapping up a deal for Paraguay starlet Jesus Medina.

The Sun says City are set to sign Medina for £3 million from Libertad.

The 20-year-old attacker is due to join the Premier League leaders but be immediately loaned out to their sister club New York City in the MLS.

Danish side Copenhagen are also in the chase for the winger, according to Futbol a lo Grande in the star's homeland.

He told them as much in a recent interview, but it looks like the City Group that owns the Citizens and NYCFC have won the race for his services.

Due to his lack of caps for his country, he is being sent out to the States for the 2018 season while he works on obtaining a UK work permit.
