New Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is being linked with a move for LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Telegraph says Mourinho, who has replaced axed Mauricio Pochettino as Spurs boss, has highlighted the free agent as a potential new signing.
The Swedish superstar, 38, recently left LA Galaxy after two years in the MLS and is weighing up his options before deciding on his next move, which could well be his last before calling time on a glittering career.
And it is believed that Ibrahimovic is intent on having one final spell in Europe, with recent reports claiming that the charismatic striker was on the brink of returning to Serie A with AC Milan.
Ibrahimovic is known to have huge affection for Mourinho and, again, could be seen as a short-term solution to help lift Tottenham until the end of the season.
