New Sevilla coach Vincenzo Montella wants to see passion from his players.
Montella has bounced back quickly from being sacked by AC Milan in late November, joining the Andalusian club at a time when they are in a comfortable fifth position in LaLiga and have a Champions League knockout tie with Manchester United on the horizon.
"Sevilla must play with spirit and passion," he explained in his introductory interview.
"I have watched the club's matches from last season and this season.
"I will watch the most recent matches to see where we can improve."
Sevilla represents Montella's first coaching job outside of Italy.
"Thank you to Sevilla for this incredible opportunity," he said.
"I want to win more as a coach; this is the ideal team to carry out my ideas.
"I loved the stadium and the club when I visited as Fiorentina coach."
