Sevilla are preparing a move to bring Newcastle United defender Florian Lejeune back to Spain.
New Sevilla coach Pablo Machin is driving the move as he sees Lejeune as a replacement for Clement Lenglet. The French stopper is expected to move to Barcelona this summer.
Meanwhile, Mundo Deportivo says Machin has urged Sevilla to consider Lejeune should they sell Lenglet.
The pair worked together at Girona and Machin remains a big fan of the 27 year-old.
Newcastle paid €10m to Eibar for Lejeune two summers ago.
