New Roma coach Jose Mourinho has assured Henrikh Mkhitaryan he wants to work with him next season.
Mkhitaryan's future at the Olimpico was uncertain when the club announced Mourinho as their new head coach, due to their time together at Manchester United.
Corriere dello Sport says the two have cleared the air after the spat in England and Mourinho told Mkhitaryan to sign a new deal with Roma.
The pair won the Europa League together at United, but Mkhitaryan was eventually frozen out by Mourinho before being offloaded to Roma.
He scored 13 goals in 34 league games with the Gialloross last term.
