New Real Sociedad B coach Xabi Alonso admits a return to Liverpool is in the career plan.

The Reds hero has just left Real Madrid to take charge of Real Sociedad B for the new season.

Xabi said, "Right now they have a fantastic manager and all of us Liverpool fans are fond of Jürgen Klopp and everything he does.

"You could feel he was the right man in the way he embraced Liverpool's culture, the way he got in touch with the fans, you could see he was doing a good job.

"Even the greatest expectations have been met. He is the right man for the moment."
