New Porto coach Vitor Pereira has revealed he turned down an offer from Chelsea this week.
New Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas wanted to bring his successor with him to Stamford Bridge.
At his unveiling yesterday, Pereira confirmed: "Villas-Boas discussed the possibility with me, but I chose to stick with my appointment at Porto.
"There is no better club to progress."
