New Fiorentina signing Pedro touched down in Florence on the weekend.

The former Fluminense striker had to delay his arrival due to red tape.

He was greeted at the airport by reporters and insisted he was fit following a thigh issue that kept him out of the last three Fluminense games.

“I am very happy to be here," said the 22-year-old striker.

“I'm ready to play."

Pedro was signed for €14m from Flu.
