New England Revolution legend Joseph returns

Shalrie Joseph is back at New England Revolution after being claimed in Tuesday's MLS Waiver Draft.

The 35-year old midfielder returns to the Gillette Stadium where he spent almost a decade between 2003 and 2012, making 261 appearances (a Revs record), and captaining the club in the process.

Former Grenada international Joseph joined Chivas USA in August 2012 before heading to Seattle Sounders in February of the following year.

With Seattle, Joseph made 12 appearances in 2013 before the club waived him early in 2014, which eventually allowed him to make his comeback to New England.

Joseph has made a total of 283 MLS appearances and sits fourth on the list of New England's all-time goalscorers with 37 and third on their assists charts with 34.
