Crystal Palace signing James Tomkins is a doubt ahead of the Premier League season-opener against West Bromwich Albion, according to reports from the Daily Star.
Tomkins picked up a hamstring injury during Palace's pre-season tour of the United States last month and the defender has not featured since suffering the setback.
Reports claim that Tomkins has still not returned to full fitness and the former West Ham United centre-half is currently a huge injury doubt for the August 13 opener against Albion at Selhurst Park.
Alan Pardew also has striker Fraizer Campbell and winger Bakary Sako in major doubt for the meeting wth the Baggies.
