New Celta Vigo signing Thiago Galhardo says he'll be ready for Real Madrid next week.

Galhardo is looking forward to facing Vinicius Junior, who he played against when the pair were young players in Brazil.

"Vinicius is my friend. When I came here, he sent me a message to tell me that it was a very good club and that he was very happy for my signing. Now I'm going to face him and we already agreed to change our shirts," said the Brazilian.

"I played in Brazil against him a few times. He is still very young, but he has an incredible talent. The dribbling, the explosion and the strength that he has is really amazing.

"In Brazil the fans criticise him more. Nobody comes to Real Madrid and plays so many games for nothing. I think people should see how far he has come before criticising him.

"He is a child who has yet to grow up, but he plays for Real Madrid and the Brazilian team. I'm sure he will mature and achieve greater achievements. I wish him the best, except playing against Celta."
