New Burnley chairman Alan Pace says manager Sean Dyche will have healthy financial backing in the January market.
Pace - who finalised a takeover last week - revealed there are funds available, although investment will be measured.
"I don't think Sean will be frustrated," the American said.
"There is financial flexibility."
Burnley's difficult start to the season coincided with a host of injury problems and Dyche has always stressed that he requires more depth to the squad.
"I agree with Sean that the team could use some extra support," Pace added. "That if someone gets injured, they have the resources to carry on.
"When the team are healthy, look at what they're able to do."
