New Bournemouth manager Tindall reveals Wenger influence

New Bournemouth manager Jason Tindall has revealed how Arsene Wenger influenced his coaching philosophy.

Tindall has succeeded Eddie Howe after spending five-years as an assistant to the Englishman.

And Tindall says former Arsenal coach Wenger influenced the pair's approach at Vitality Stadium.

"When Ed and myself first got involved in management at Bournemouth, we did go and watch Arsenal train a number of times, through contacts that we had at the time," Tindall told the club's website.

"Arsene was the manager and I don't think anyone could ever criticise the job and philosophy that Arsene Wenger had and brought to this country.

"We were big admirers of him and Arsenal at the time and it was a philosophy that we really liked, believed in and tried to implement here.

"That's certainly the philosophy that this football club has seen over the years and one that we'll try and build going forward."
