New Barcelona president Joan Laporta met with the players on Monday at training.
Laporta had already explained on Sunday that this was one of the first things he wanted to do and the incoming boss met with the team well ahead of their second leg Champions League round 16 clash against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday.
Throughout the campaign, Laporta was keen not to mention specific names so as not to disrupt the dynamic of the current team.
"We need to go to Paris to compete, with our heads high," Laporta said about that game. "If we score early, anything can happen."
Laporta is expected to go to Paris for that game, even if he won't be 100 percent sworn in as president by then.
