New Aston Villa manager Emery must fill staff gaps

New Aston Villa manager Unai Emery is bringing a significant team with him to the club.

The Spaniard will have an eight-strong backroom team as part of his setup at the Midlands club.

Emery has taken over from Steven Gerrard as manager, and will be in the dugout when they take on Manchester United at the weekend.

Per the Express and Star, there are still a few names on the backroom staff that are to be finalized.

However, the likes of long-time assistant Pablo Villanueva and goalkeeper coach Javi Garcia will certainly be with Emery at Villa.

Gerrard's departure last month led to seven of his backroom staff slowly leaving the club, which means there are many holes to plug for Emery.
