New Al-Nasr director Eriksson opens doors for Beckham

Sven-Goran Eriksson says he would love to have David Beckham join him at UAE outfit Al-Nasr.

The Swede has taken the reins as technical director at the Dubai-based Pro-League club and has revealed that he will pursue the former Manchester United, Real Madrid and LA Galaxy star.

"If he wants to come I'm sure they would open the gates for him," Eriksson said. "I still speak with him, although I don't know where he will finish up."

Beckham, who ended his successful six-year MLS tenure at the end of 2012, is currently pondering a high number of offers from clubs all over the world as he prepares for the next phase of his extensive career.
