New AGF coach Uwe Rosler says he's held talks with Jack Wilshere about next season.
The former Arsenal and West Ham midfielder has been offered a new deal after spending six months with AGF last term.
Rosler, who was appointed this week, said: "I've talked to Jack. We've had a good talk with him about his and our plans, and now he's gone back to England to think about it, and then we'll talk to him again this weekend, and then we'll see where we stand.
"But he would like to have a few days to think about the future. It was a good talk so it can go both ways.
"I always want good players to play for my team. He's a good player and he's really, really good at passing. He is a plus for any team in Denmark. But he just wanted to think about it, but there will be an answer within the next week."
