New AC Milan coach Marco Giampaolo has spoken of the adjustments he's made since replacing Rino Gattuso.
Giampaolo changed the system to 4-3-1-2, but also focused more on passing, possession and being proactive.
He said, “We are working on macro-principles right now, then we need to get into the details. The games we play in this pre-season tour will give us information on what we need to go into more deeply.
“I know where we want to go to reach my vision, mentality and attitude, so I realise there's a lot of work ahead of us. Time is not on our side and we are missing several key figures at the moment, so I thank Fabio Borini for being available to try a new midfield role.
“It's a long construction process, but we have laid down the blueprint. We must all share an idea that can take us towards important results together."
