Manchester United legend Gary Neville feels they face at least two more years in the wilderness.
They finished in sixth last season following a disappointing beginning and end to the campaign that saw them sack Jose Mourinho and replace him with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Christmas.
"There has to be a lot of change here," Neville told Bild. "With the exchange of some players it is not done.
"It will not be possible for United to become a champion for the next two years."
United have not won the Premier League title since 2012-13 season – Sir Alex Ferguson's final year in charge of the club.
