Sunderland have received a transfer boost from Paraguay striker Nelson Valdez.
The News of the World says Borussia Dortmund claim Valdez wants to head to the Stadium of Light - and not Spain as had previously been thought.
The forward is keen to link up with fellow Paraguay internationals Cristian Riveros and Paulo da Silva on Wearside.
