Former Argentinos Junior defender Nehuen Perez is delighted with his move to Atletico Madrid.

The 18 year-old stopper was presented to local media yesterday.

Perez stated: "I'm very happy to be in a club as big as Atleti. I appreciate the confidence of the president and the coaches and I will give everything here."

The youngster was also asked if he was looking forward to working with Diego Godin.

"I have a lot to learn, we have talked a lot about him and (Jose) Giménez. Also from Savic. They are the best centres in the world."

Atletico president Enrique Cerezo said: "Atletico is multiplying its efforts to discover players in all parts of the world, and Nehuén has all the conditions and profiles that sports management wants."
