Manchester City's Pablo Maffeo has heaped praise on two of his senior teammates.

The 18-year-old right-back has continued to develop into a promising talent since moving from Espanyol and says a lot of that is down to the influence of Spanish winger Jesus Navas and Argentine defender Pablo Zabaleta.

"Everyone [in the first team] is nice with you and treats you well to make you feel comfortable," he told City's official website.

"Obviously I have more connection with the Spanish players, Jesus Navas especially, we speak a lot of the time – he's crazy, it's good!

"Zabaleta is like my father in there – he's always laughing with us. When you need advice, he's a great person to have around."
