Napoli have pulled back from plans to sign Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti.
Gazzetta dello Sport says Napoli feel the French World Cup winner is too expensive for them and will look at alternative options.
Barça are open to offers for Umtiti, despite the fact he wants to stay and fulfill his contract. However. the Catalan club need money and the centre-back's injury problems and dip in form have made him transferable.
The Blaugrana are hopeful of pocketing up to €50m for the defender, although that figure is likely to drop due to the coronavirus pandemic and the financial effects it will have on football.
