Lille defender Gabriel is counting on Chelsea and Everton firming up their interest.

France Football says Gabriel is keen to play in the Premier League for Chelsea or Everton next season despite Napoli opening transfer talks with his current club Lille.

The player is said to be waiting for offers from Premier League sides, with both Chelsea and Everton in contact.

Lille should make about €25m with his sale this summer, and that would be important income for the club, given how tough the window will be due to the financial crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
