Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik admits there were many mistakes made in the final days of coach Carlo Ancelotti's time in charge.
The players' refusal to enter ritiro on the request of president Aurelio de Laurentiis eventually led to Ancelotti's sacking.
“I don't want to go back and talk about Ancelotti, but we all made mistakes," he told Sky Sport Italia.
“Since I've been at Napoli I have never experienced such a situation. Our ranking in the table cannot be true.
“We want to get back into the Champions League."
Gennaro Gattuso is now in charge, with Milik added: “We must follow Gattuso and leave our hearts on the pitch. He has clear ideas and character.
“We have players who have always played that way."
