Napoli striker Lorenzo Insigne is chasing a place in Italy's World Cup squad.

The 22-year-old has been named in Italy's 42-man party to undergo physical tests ahead of the tournament, something he will do today.

"This call-up from the Coach is very important because the World Cup is very close," Insigne told reporters.

"I believe I can realise my dream of playing for the Azzurri and I am doing all I can with Napoli to make it come true.

"I am always available for the national team, every time I get a call-up from them I am very happy."
