Napoli striker Lorenzo Insigne was thrilled to play for Italy at his home San Paolo stadium.

Insigne featured in the 2-2 draw with Armenia.

"It was certainly emotional, as it was my first senior Italy game at the San Paolo. I thank the fans for chanting my name. The emotion was indescribable," said the homegrown Napoli talent on Rai Sport.

"My old football school also had a banner tonight and I hope they can follow in my footsteps."
