Napoli striker Dries Mertens is adamant they dominated last night's defeat to Juventus.
Napoli lost 2-1 with both teams having a player sent off.
“We are disappointed and I don't think we're lacking anything to compete with Juventus, because we dominated the game," the Belgian told Sky Sport Italia.
“We continued playing even after going down to 10 men and were unlucky. We've got to keep going like this, because one day we'll manage it."
Mertens admits the demands of Napoli coach Carlo Ancelotti has been difficult for him.
“It is a change, because I am not exactly Peter Crouch… I still want to give my all and make a difference for Napoli."
