Manchester United are closing in on the signing of Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain.

Italian website CalcioMercatoWeb claims that the 27-year old Argentine is set for a move to Old Trafford after agreeing to personal terms with the Red Devils.

The report states that Higuain has agreed a five-year deal worth over £5 million a season with United although Italian club Napoli have not yet agreed to the reported €38million fee as they are holding out for €50m.
