Napoli are keen to set up a loan deal for Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira.
Gazzetta dello Sport says Napoli are testing the waters with an initial €3m (£2.5m) 18-month loan deal in January, with an obligation for a further €27m (£22m) to make it a permanent deal thereafter.
The Uruguayan has reportedly found it tough to settle in north London having been met with competition from Granit Xhaka, Dani Ceballos and Matteo Guendouzi in central midfield.
Torreira has one league goal so far this season and is yet to claim an assist with the 23-year-old a player who could be tempted by a return to Serie A, where his reputation soared.
