Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has declared he wants to re-sign PSG striker Edinson Cavani.
De Laurentiis admits he has plans to make a big name signing.
“People talk to me about the January market, but we have not yet seen [Alex] Meret, [Amin] Younes, [Faouzi] Ghoulam, [Vlad] Churches and [Simone] Verdi," De Laurentiis told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“If we're supposed to play virtual football, just doing the transfer market, then I invite the fans to put together a virtual team since leagues of that type are now so popular.
“You make an ideal team, I'll finance it, and we'll see if we win anything.
“Cavani? I was pleased to meet him in Paris, we hugged and I dragged him into the dressing room. It's clear, he has two sons here and how could you not miss Naples?
“If you look out in Paris you don't have Capri and all these wonderful days, and in the French capital you're not as loved in the streets as happens here.
“If, at the end of the season and with the OK of [Coach Carlo] Ancelotti, PSG give him to us for free or a nominal amount since his contract is expiring, and if he settles for €6-7m per season, then he could - I repeat, Ancelotti permitting - come back.
“Above all the Matador must be clear that the important philosophy is now about all 24 players."
