Napoli president De Laurentiis remains hopeful of James deal; but Icardi...?

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is pushing Real Madrid to sell James Rodriguez for a realistic price.

James has long agreed terms with Napoli, but Madrid are continuing to hold out for a €42m fee.

“James' problem is that we have to negotiate with Real Madrid," De Laurentiis told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“We don't want to give in to their unfair demands. Time will tell."

The president also rubbished rumours of a meeting with the agent and wife of Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi, Wanda Nara, about a transfer.

"It's a load of nonsense. I met her three years ago and I'm not going to meet her again, also because Napoli don't need Icardi."
