Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis is delighted with the state of his current squad.

De Laurentiis admits he fought hard to keep the team together.

“I have a beautiful squad, I've always thought that," De Laurentiis told Il Mattino.

“[Coach Carlo] Ancelotti always changes his line-up and that surprises our opponents. I like the fact that we push with one full-back and then the other, like that it's all so unpredictable.

“Look at [Kévin] Malcuit, he reminds me so much of [Faouzi] Ghoulam.

“There isn't a day that goes by where we don't get agents knocking on our door, but those who have Napoli in their heart will stay here.

“Look at Koulibaly, I erected a wall to keep him here with me, but that's because he's always put his heart inside that blue shirt."
