Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis admits he's a fan of Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano.

De Laurentiis could be seeking a new coach amid doubts over the future of Luciano Spalletti.

He said, "I've always been an admirer of Italiano.

"When he beat me 4 years ago, I went to his dressing room to congratulate him.

"Ready for a big one? He's already in a big one. In Italy it is thought that the big names are only 3/4, but that's not the case. Fiorentina has a great tradition and a great fan base."
