Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis fears they're decades behind English football.

De Laurentiis was speaking before his club were dumped out of the Europa League last night by Arsenal.

He observed: "Last night, watching Manchester City-Tottenham, it was like a whole new world.

"I said to myself: this is football. Italy are prehistoric in their approach. It almost seems as if in Italy we don't want enjoy ourselves and we hide behind tactics.

"That's the real danger when facing an English club."
