Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis is coy over their pursuit of a goalkeeper signing.

Udinese youngster Alex Meret and PSG keeper Aphonse Areola are both under consideration.

“Meret or Areola? Don't worry about it, the goal will be covered," De Laurentiis said.

“Now, go in peace. We talked about the San Paolo and that's what you expected. Many of you wrote that I was in Paris for Areola, but I was there for the ECA, to talk about football between 2024 and 2027.

“It's not like one [goalkeeper] is better than the other, it all remains to be seen. We need to see how the team will play, both attacking and defending. The destiny of a goalkeeper depends on the whole context.

“There are three other names, which I won't reveal, time will tell."
