Napoli midfielder Mirko Valdifiori is looking forward to meeting Empoli this weekend.

Valdifiori followed coach Maurizio Sarri from Empoli to Napoli this summer.

“It will be a special Sunday, I'll be returning to a club where I spent seven years, but I'll be returning in a Napoli shirt, and I'll give my all.

“We're working hard, and there will probably be some affection from the fans for myself, Sarri and [Elseid] Hysaj because we wrote an important page in the history of Empoli.

“We're working hard to get a win."
