Julian De Guzman's reported move to AFC Bournemouth is now off.
Sky Sports reports that the Dutch midfielder, who has previously spent time on loan with Swansea City, was set to join the Cherries on a season-long loan but the deal will no longer happen.
De Guzman, who was also a target for Everton and Sunderland, was expected to move temporarily to the Vitality Stadium, for a loan fee of £720,000, but he does not fancy a move to the south coast and will remain in Naples.
It was reported on talkSPORT that De Guzman is apparently injured which has denied Bournemouth his services.
