Napoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina is a step closer to signing for AC Milan.

Off contract in June, Reina is expected to join Milan on a Bosman transfer this summer.

Corriere dello Sport says the Spaniard was at Milanello yesterday to undergo a Rossonero medical - with everything running smoothly.

It's also suggested Reina would arrive to replace current No1 Gigio Donnarumma. The young shot-stopper will be allowed to leave after attempts last summer to engineer a move away.

Donnarumma's availability will alert Europe's biggest clubs, with PSG, Juventus, Liverpool and Real Madrid all mentioned as potential suitors.
