Napoli are eager to sign Arsenal defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos.

The Greek veteran is a target for the Italian club, who may be looking to sell Kalidou Koulibaly to Manchester City.

Since Arsenal have signed Gabriel from Lille, they may be willing to let 32-year-old Sokratis leave.

He has a year left on his contract, and may be a backup at best this season.
