Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has dubbed Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri a "crazy man".

Koulibaly worked with Sarri when he was in charge of the Azzurri.

He recalled, “I worked with many atypical coaches, great coaches, but the craziest was Maurizio Sarri. He was passionate about tactics, working so hard that at times in training we were doing exercises for 11 men against zero.

“The craziest thing he did was when my wife was about to give birth to our son.

"Sarri told me I did not have the right to leave the squad to be with my wife and child. He was a crazy man."
