Napoli coach Gattuso on Juventus controversy: I wanted to travel

Napoli coach Gennaro Gattuso is furious with how the club has been treated over the scrapping of their game with Juventus.

The result was awarded to Juve 3-0 and Napoli also docked a point.

They will appeal the verdict, but Gattuso assures the narrative that Napoli didn't try everything to make the journey to Turin is not true.

“They don't let me talk, but I like to talk. I'm angrier than anyone that we didn't travel, because Juventus are right now the team to beat, but also a work in progress.

“I would've used the same line-up I had tonight, other than Bakayoko, who hadn't arrived yet. Until 6.55pm, we were on the bus and ready to leave. I am angry that we didn't travel and I can assure you we did everything possible.

“I said let's go and at worst lose 3-0 on the field, but at least it's on the field. The last I heard, we were going to play and then it all changed."
