Napoli coach Carlo Ancelotti admits they weren't good enough for their 2-0 Coppa Italia quarter-final defeat to AC Milan.

Krzysztof Piatek scored both goals for Milan's win.

“Napoli weren't up to the task tonight," said Ancelotti.

“The game became very difficult to turn around after two early counter-attacks on long balls and then Milan clammed up. Other than the goals, they didn't actually do very much, but right now we are not physically sharp enough to break down such a defensive approach.

“Without those two errors, we would've had more spaces opening up."
