Napoli coach Carlo Ancelotti has threatened to quit if Kalidou Koulibaly is sold.
Calciomercato.com reports the tactician said he “will not come back from [his holiday in] Canada" if the 28-year-old defensive superstar is moved on.
Ancelotti's threat is not as serious as it may seem, with Napoli extremely confident of keeping Koulibaly after telling United to cough up an incredible £135million for his signature.
Indeed, Ancelotti's comments are actually seen by club chiefs as more of a “joke", with all parties satisfied that Manchester United and Manchester City will not be meeting that fee, which would make Koulibaly the world's most expensive defender.
