Napoli are closing on a loan deal for Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez.

Radio Crc says the two clubs are in advanced talks over the Colombia captain.

Napoli aim to agree a one-season loan - worth €10m - but there remains a difference in price over the option to buy.

The proposal from the Partenopei is an extra €30m, while Real Madrid want another €40m out of the deal.

James has just completed a two-season loan at Bayern Munich, which chose not to trigger his €42m option.
