Napoli chief Cristiano Guintoli insists they believe in Nathaniel Chalobah.

The midfielder is on a season-long loan from Chelsea, but has struggled for minutes under coach Maurizio Sarri.

However, Guintoli insists Napoli are confident Chalobah will have a role to play this season.

"Yes, the boy was signed on the last day of the market and only has had 25 days of the 50 overall training with the team, so he is not an automatic choice.

"But he is a quality player and will prove it."
