Napoli captain Lorenzo Insigne admits he does take criticism to heart.

Insigne struck for the 1-1 draw with Sassuolo.

He stated, “I always get criticised. I don't want to stir up controversy, but I am the only one who always gets targeted when I don't score or don't perform up to my usual standards.

“It does hurt, but I am working to improve and hope to get stronger."

Insigne added: "I was just a little annoyed at the result at the final whistle, because I always want to win. We did well to react and get a draw out of it, then tried to push for the victory."
