Napoli captain Giovanni di Lorenzo says Victor Osimhen is in good spirits.

Di Lorenzo was speaking ahead of tomorrow's Champions League clash with Real Madrid.

The defender insists Osimhen is fine after last week's social media controversy, stating: "He is as enthusiastic as the whole team, I can't say enough about him, he works a lot, then in the game he has an incredible desire to score goals and help his teammates.

"He always makes himself available, there isn't a lot of work to do, it all starts from him, from his desire and his attitude.

"We are happy that he is on our side. Nothing has changed for us, Osimhen is always Osimhen."

Di Lorenzo also stated on former Napoli coach Carlo Ancelotti, now in charge of Real Madrid: "It will be a pleasure to see him again, we have a great relationship, he immediately gave me confidence.

"Tomorrow for a an hour and a half we will be opponents but as always I will be the first to thank him for the trust he has given me."
